Shelley and I took our first Disney trip together on October 6-10, 2000. We stayed at the Swan hotel right outside Epcot and the Boardwalk. On the last day of our visit, she talked me into visiting the DVC showroom. Perhaps it was the building headcold and fever, but I agreed to buy into the DVC timeshare, which led to all of the many wonderful Disney World trips that I've taken since.
The Swan Hotel
Shelley used Priceline to arrange the hotel for this visit. The hotel they gave us was the Swan, located on property on the waterway between the Epcot and MGM parks. We were so spoiled to be right in the middle that we just had to come back.
Animal Kingdom: Safari
The Animal Kingdom park was new to both of us this trip. We started the day with a ride through the safari.
