Scenic Views from Ladera

All of these photos were taken from our room. The views were all very nice. Truely the most impressive place I've ever stayed, in that respect.

Sunset behind Petit Piton, on Sunday the 18th of June, 2000.

The bay between the Pitons is home to the Jalousie Hilton. This photo shows part of the beachfront as well the the tennis courts of that resort. Ladera ran a shuttle down to the resort, where we were allowed to enjoy swimming at the beach, use of the sailboats, and snorkelling in the reef under Petit Piton.

Gros Piton again. The clearing at bottom right is a helipad for the Hilton. They seemed to run frequent air-tours of the area.

The bay again, this time with four yachts at anchor. This seemed to be a popular stopping point for yacht travellers.
